Welcome!

Welcome to Sequoia Strings. Students in orchestra will learn new skills, make friends, learn the importance of teamwork, and learn new skills on a stringed instrument. Students can choose from the violin, viola, cello, and double bass in strings class.

Beginning/Intermediate STrings

Beginning/intermediate strings meets during 1st period. This class is open to all students.

Advanced strings

Advanced strings meets during 0 period. Students must either audition or go through 1st period strings to join this class. 

Meet Mrs. Forbrizzio

Mrs. Forbrizzio has a Bachelor of Music Education from Bowling Green State University and a Master of Music Education from the University of South Carolina. She has been teaching middle school orchestra for 10 years. Email Mrs. Forbrizzio at vforbrizzio@conejousd.org

Where to find an instrument

School Instruments
  • Limited school instruments available on a yearlong basis
  • A signed contract is required
  • Replacement and repair fees vary depending on each individual instrument
  • Beginning Strings students have priority to school violins and violas​
